As a member of the Society you receive the following benefits:
Members can attend our meetings at reduced price including the tri-annual
symposium and receive our news letter. Information about the Society
meetings are given on the web site and in the news letter. In addition
all members receive a subscription to our journal International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation
which is published by Elsevier Science Ltd . At present there are
8 issues a year including special issues.
Members receive news of forthcoming meetings, publications on the
subject of biodeterioration, biodegradation and bioremediation.
Members of the Society have the opportunity to meet fellow scientists
from a large number of Institutions world-wide including the United
Kingdom, Europe and the United States.
Student Members can attend our meetings at reduced price and receive
copies of the news letter. Student members may also receive financial
assistance to attend our meetings if they present a paper or a poster.
The Society offers a bursary scheme to fund student projects at undergraduate
level.
